Code of Practice

The primary objective of this RAMS Code is not to be punitive but rather to be a guideline for appropriate performance in a diversified educational environment.
  •  Where possible and appropriate, education and provision of support services shall be used to attempt informal resolution of a matter before proceeding to formal disciplinary procedures.
  • Raisoni Group of Institutions is a distinct community of students, staff and faculty, involved in learning, teaching, research and other activities.
  • Students become a member of this community for the period of their registration in the academic program to which they have been admitted and, as such, assume the responsibilities that such registration entails.
  • All members of the community are expected to support an environment that is conducive to the personal and professional growth of all who study, work and live within it.
  • As an academic community, RGI governs the activities of all its members and sets standards of behaviour in order to promote and maintain an environment of mutual respect for the rights, responsibilities, dignity and well-being of others and the larger community. 
The purpose of this Code of Practice is to inform RGI staff and students, and relevant individuals from outside RGI (e.g. Visiting Faculty and Parents), about the processes for monitoring the progress of students on RGI taught programmes and the actions that may be taken when progress is unsatisfactory. 
Scope:
This Code of Practice applies to all the members of RGI who had their IDs for RAMS System and relevant individuals from outside RGI.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Management ensures that all decisions taken in relation to the monitoring of student progress are in accordance with RGI regulations and that decision and reasons for decisions are recorded accurately.
Head of the Institute is responsible for ensuring that appropriate mechanisms exist and are operated consistently for monitoring performance of students, for taking remedial action and for dealing with students for their progress and unsatisfactorily performance. In the discharge of these duties, the Head of the Institutions can operate as a Module Review Board, as a Progress Board and as a Final Board of Examiners in accordance with the regulations governing the particular programme of study and in line with the Code of Practice on Assessment and Feedback.
Head of the Department has a responsibility similar to the Head of the Institute in regards to their respective Departments.
HoD must direct the department level coordinator to communicate regarding Faculty left the college or are on long leaves to RAMS HQ as soon as event takes place
Faculty of the institute is responsible for the regular updates in all the modules of RAMS.  They are required to ensure the 100% clear records in regards to all the Modules and regular login from students in the systems. All the assignments and Notes related or any academic communication must take place through RAMS.
Coordinators are responsible for the regular communications to be made by them in regards to all the modules time to time updates.
